Tcpdump version 3.0 has been uploaded to the Incoming directory
of sunsite.unc.edu (and will probably be moved to system/Network)

Size Filename
------ --------
142821 tcpdump-3.0-linux-bin.tar.gz
182999 tcpdump-3.0-linux-src.tar.gz

As the names imply, they are source and binary versions of tcpdump.
The binary version has been linked statically so that it may be used
with any version of libc. The binary has been run on linux version 0.99.15,
1.0.8, and 1.1.28, so it should work with any version of linux in use.

I kept the port as linux independent as possible.

These files can also be retrieved via anonymous ftp from:
103mort2.cs.ohiou.edu in /linux
