The full ISE Eiffel 3 graphical environment is now available on Linux.

A special license is available to students and individuals. The license
includes all the components of the environment:

        - EiffelBench: graphical development environment supporting compiling (all modes: Melting Ice Technology for fast recompilation, generation
of portable C code, optimization), debugging, browsing etc.

        - EiffelBuild: graphical interface and application builder.

        - EiffelVision: library for graphics and user interfaces.

        - EiffelBase: library of data structures and algorithms.

        - EiffelLex, EiffelParse: libraries for language analysis.

The US price is $295, including the three Prentice Hall books

        - Eiffel: The Language

        - Reusable Software: The Base Object-Oriented Component Libraries

        - An Object-Oriented Environment: Principles and Practices

Note: to use EiffelVision and EiffelBuild you need to have Motif.

Reminder: the fully graphical ISE Eiffel 3 environment is also available
on the following platforms:

DEC Alpha, DG Aviion, Fujitsu, HP 9000, IBM RISC 6000,
Pyramid, SCO Unix, Silicon Graphics, Sun (SunOS and Solaris 2.3),
        DEC Ultrix.

The non-graphical version of the environment is available on Windows
(386 and above) in both a personal version (with no C code generation)
and a professional version (including all facilities of the Unix
version except for the graphics).

The different versions are fully source-compatible with each other.
