If you want to subscribe to the ASUS discussion list, see below for a
description of the ASUS list I just set up:
_______

This list is concerned primarily with discussion regarding
the use of ASUS brand motherboards, including I/O, SCSI, BIOS
setup, and other issues and concerns that may interest owners or
prospective owners.

These economical and fast OS/2, Linux, and DOS/Windows friendly boards
include the 486 PCI based SP3 and newer "green" SP3G, as well as several
Pentium models. Given that the boards generally cost less than an
Adaptec 2940 SCSI controller, they seems to be a great buy.

Onboard features include:
2 onboard hi-speed serial ports
1 hi-speed enhanced bi-directional parallel port
2.88 floppy support
IDE, and bootable PCI based NCR53C810 Fast SCSI-2 controller
256K 15ns L-2 write-back cache
Intel Saturn II chipset
AWARD Flash BIOS for both system and NCR BIOS

To communicate with the list, send to ASUS-L@cornell.edu.

To subscribe to listname, send the following command via
electronic mail to listserv@cornell.edu:

subscribe ASUS-L firstname lastname

Where "firstname" is your first name and "lastname" is your
last name.

If you have any questions about ASUS-L, contact owner, the
list owner, at pb15@cornell.edu.
