In the "[some people have entirely too much time on their hands -spaf]"
software series, I'm proud to announce bl-1.0. What does bl do?
Blinkenlights (bl for short) blinks you keyboard lights - Caps, Scroll
and Num Lock. There are many exciting, clever, and stimulating
patterns to chose from, including:

- blink left (lights blink from right to left in succession)
- blink right (lights blink from left to right in succession)
- bounce (lights bounce back and forth, much like KITT's lights in
          Knight Rider)
- random (lights blink in random order)

Not only can you choose patterns, but you can also set the delay in
which the lights blink.

On top of that, bl can run on any virtual console, and also under X.
CPU time used is "not very much" (about 3 CPU minutes/day).

Entertain your family, amaze your friends, baffle your relatives, amuze your
coworkers, confuse your cat, makes a great icebreaker at parties...

Available on sunsite.unc.edu:/pub/Linux/Incoming, and will be soon moved
elsewhere.

Enjoy,
Greg
