Hi,

just uploaded NC 0.75, the Northern Commander for Linux,
to sunsite.unc.edu. You can get it in Germany from
ftp.gwdg.de. The file is named nc075.tgz and is about 55k.

The expected location on sunsite is:

pub/Linux/utils/file/managers/nc075.tgz

BTW: My email address has changed. Bugs, fixes, comments only
to:

andy@titan.central.de (Andreas Matthias)

Here are the changes against 0.74. The main changes were
corrections to the screen handling so that NC now works OK
with ncurses 1.8.5 and some portability enhancements.
It should now be easier to port NC to other Unixes.

We're working on a faster directory handling, expect a new
version soon.

0.75: - The target of a link is now shown at the info line
	   - Corrected some comments in config.h
	   - Changed standout/standend to wattron/watroff,
because standout does not do reverse video on some terminals
	     with ncurses 1.8.5.
	   - Supplied fnmatch.c and fnmatch.h for systems that don't have it
	     (conditional compilation)
	   - Added #defines for SysV curses use instead of ncurses (untested)
	   - Added some #defines to make NC compile on SunOS (still a warning
	     about signal() with SunOS)
	   - Changed name of LOCALTMPDIR. It now contains both the UID and
PID of the NC process to avoid name conflicts.

Have fun,

Andreas
