Uploaded to sunsite.unc.edu:/pub/Linux/Incoming an InterViews-3.1
as iv3.1dist.tar.gz (and iv3.1dist.lsm) binary distribution.

The ''readme'' (interviews/README.linux)
as follows:

----
README for InterViews 3.1 binary distribution for Linux

Largely due to the work of Michael Lipp <mnl@dtro.e-technik.th-darmstadt.de>,
Mike Stump <mrs@cygnus.com>, David Engel & Eric Youngdale (DLL Tools)
<eric@tantalus.nrl.navy.mil> and to the work of all involved in the
creation of InterViews and its subsequent port to GCC + Linux that
here we have a binary distribution which feels and behaves according
to the following expectations:

[1] The enhanced Motif (SMF) look-and-feel is the default. The other
    possible look-and-feel is: Motif.

[2] The TIFF library (possibly via libgr.so.1) is necessary only when
    TIFFRaster class is used.

[3] The TIFFRaster class correctly loads RGB values for the Intel
    architecture.

[4] The ''doc'' application is usable (strictly from personal experiences
of what is available in the slackware distribution.)

The binaries were built with Linux 1.0 and libc.so.4.5.23 no guarantee
of any sort is given that this distribution is usable with anything
below this revs. Furthermore, no guarantee of this distribution
usefulness can be given.

CAVEAT: The configuration files (thus apps like doc, ...) have been
modified to look for the ''root'' InterViews directory as:

                    /interviews

The distribution unpacks `usr/local/interviews' and `interviews'
as a symbolic link to it.
