[ Moderator's note: readline is a C subroutine library that makes it
easy to add command line editing to programs. --liw ]

I have released, with the cooperation of Rob Hooft, the new DLL readline
library version 2.0 (sources as distributed with bash-1.14). Included also
are readline linked bash-1.14, ftp and gdb-4.12 binaries.

This version is incompatable with previous version 1.x (hence the major
version number bump) as too little space was originally allocated for some
of the global vars with the recent inclusion of international keymaps by the
readline authors.

Other popular applications which can be readline linked are gnuplot and
ncftp.
