Hi!

The second release of the cmu snmp-package (agent and application) for
Linux is avail at

	ftp.ibr.cs.tu-bs.de:/pub/local/cmu-snmp2.1.2l2.tar.gz

NEWS:
	* /etc/snmpd.conf file featuring non-default interfaces and
	  speeds. Setable system.Location and system.Contact
	* mostly complete MIB-II variables (snmp group, ipNetToMedia,
	  udpEntry added)
	* some minor enhancements and fixes.

BUGS:
	* SNMPv2 is only tested with ``noAuth'' set.
	* Setting of variables is not provided and tested.

The cmu snmp-agent implements the SNMP v1 and v2 Simple Network
Management Protocol and runs without additional configuring as SNMPv1
agent with ``public'' community.

Have fun, Erik
