Rocat 0.85, a new version of the rocat BBS system for Linux is now available
on sunsite.unc.edu in /pub/Linux/Incoming. I expect it to be moved to
/pub/Linux/system/BBS in the next few days.

The new version has the following new capabilities:

- All strings have been extracted to allow for easier foreign language
configuration
- The BBS will now kill externals started by users when the user's
timelimit has expired
- A few things here and there. Bug fixes (a few). Mostly new features.

rocat is a fully featured DOS style BBS with unix reliability,
professional capabilities and a very low system impact.

It has the following features:
	- full documentation from unpacking to installation to configuration
	- direct support of CD-ROM filesystems
	- foreign language support
	- all unix externals supported
	- all systems that would be redundant in a BBS running on Unix have
	been relegated to Unix.
	- all files are editable
	- text file generators for common utilities are included
	- batch upload/download with support for any protocol that you can
	get to compile
	- covered under the GNU Public License (version 2)
	- IP sockets are used for all communication
	- and, of course, tons more features. See bbsinstl.txt for more
	information.
