At long last, I am happy to announce the release of dvgt 3.5l2. dvgt
is a terminal-based dvi previewer. It includes drivers for ANSI,
ReGIS, and Tek-like terminals and the Linux version includes SVGA
support.

The new features in this version of the Linux port include:

+ It actually works: Really, just try it for yourself.

+ Improved security: It initializes the SVGA driver and then
          gives up root privileges.

+ Improved text handling: It now uses the vgagl text routines,
which may give better performance on some platforms.

+ Adjustable colors: Background and foreground colors can be
          set through environment variables.

+ MakeTeXPK support: If a PK file cannot be found, dvgt will
optionally call MakeTeXPK to build the missing file.

I just uploaded dvgt-3.51l2.tar.gz to sunsite, so it should be in the
Incoming directory for a little while. Eventually it should migrate
to /pub/Linux/apps/tex. Let me know if (when?) any problems come up.
