The next release of my DSlip SLIP management suite is now available. It
is currently in Incoming on sunsite and will hopefully be moved to its
    final resting place (pub/Linux/system/Network/serial) soon.

If for some reason you cannot get it from sunsite you can pop it from
ftp.west.oic.com (but be prepared for slowness, it is only a 1.6 KByte/sec
    link).

NOTE: This stuff is not user friendly, do not attempt to use if you are
not UNIX literate at the sysop level. You really need to know your
way around scripts in general to use it.

See the README in the archive for further details. A number of minor fixes
have been made, especially to the sample scripts, and a number of new
    features added.

    	* DSlip now allows active connections to be specified by device name
as well as by symbolic name. E.G. you can disable the connection
on /dev/cua0 with 'slipoff /dev/cua0' rather then having to specify
the symbolic name of the connection.

	* When you enable an interface you can override the device
	  specification.

	* A bug in pointtopoint was found... ifconfig was being called
	  with 'pointtopoint' rather then 'pointopoint'.

	* UUCP style device locking has been added, thanks to Thomas
	  Roettgers for the code.

	* Path problems in sample scripts fixed. There might still be
	  some though.

	* notty binary was missing from previous distribution
