This is gloe release 0.5. Gloe stems from my third year BSc project at Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London and therefore Copyright belongs to them. It is young and lacking features. However its main aim is ease of use. Hopefully the interface is quite intuitive to use. Features will gradually be added. Any comments or bug reports please send to: goblin@dcs.qmw.ac.uk. One annoying thing is the behaviour of the delete keys under certain configurations. To fix this for XFree86 you may try putting the following in your .xinitrc. xmodmap -e "keycode 22 = BackSpace" xmodmap -e "keycode 107 = Delete" This is taken from Stephen Lee's Mini-HowTo on deletekey configuration. Given the youthfull nature of gloe I would strongly advise using the backup facilities it offers. You can get it to backup a file before each overwrite and also to periodically save a copy of the work you are editing. Have fun Franz
