New HOWTO: Speech Recognition HOWTO

Hello,

  I am interested in writing a HOWTO for Automated Speech Recognition
(ASR).  The HOWTO would include information on ASR theories, techniques,
algorithms, programming, free software, and commercial software.

  Is there already one under development (I couldn't find one in the
howtos list), and if not, I'd like to start writing.
