1.- How to eliminate the extremely = high level=20 groundnoise produced when I plug a guitar into the console and the = computer=20 monitor is on, if I turn off the monitor, the noise is = gone.
 
2.- I have an akai s3000 scsi = attached to a=20 syquest 200mb, I would like to buy a scsi/pci card for a pc/win combo, = with the=20 ability to connect with the akai/syquest subsystem. Are all the scsi = formats=20 compatible?
what about cabling, I've seen 40, 50 pin, 68 pin,=20 etc.

And only to say that there is no other solution than to move away from the monitor or turn it off. The problem is that CRT's are big electron guns. Any signal source in the vicinity of one will pick up lots of noise. It's not ground noise, it's rfi (radio frequency interference).
