Became interested in HK-PRC relationship at the time of the U.K.-PRC negotiations in 1982, and have followed closely the political developments in Hong Kong since then. The story of 1989 is well known to all ... , I joined FDC (which kind of became ADC etc.etc.), and am chairman of ADC Hawaii chapter. I am also member of AHKCUS, a group of HKers in the U.S. promoting dem. and H.R. in HK and China. I am also member of United Democrats of HK, which will merge with Meeting Point to become the Democratic Party of HK. Many of you probably read my posts on China-Nt, SCC, SCHK, and recently talk.politics.tibet, so my political views are quite pro-"D-fighter". I was involved last year with the federal constitution for China also. I was asked to write about that and about dem. in HK for CCF a while ago, but was too lazy to write so far. I guess I have no excuse now :-) Wing
