HZ is a chinese coding scheme in which two ascii chars are used to represent one chinese char. For details, please see HZ.spec FTP'able from ifcss.org:/software/unix/converter/HZ-2.0.tar.Z. Hanzi-table is a table of the chinese char and corresponding ascii chars. The table can be used to enter Chinese Charaters directly by their ascii representations. I have put the table in two formats: Chinese coded in HZ: hanzi-table.hz Chinese coded in GB: hanzi-table.gb People who use yawei's ZWDOS211 will see an extra ~ in hanzi-table.hz because yawei did not treated two ~'s as one ~ as described in HZ.spec. Same as in GB table, Hanzi-table is divided as three parts: 1) Symbols 2) Frequent used characters by alphabetic order 3) Infrequent used characters by radicals.
