Last modified 4/24/96 This MSDOS program reads a BIG-5 encoded Chinese text file and counts the total numbers of four different categories of characters: ASCII, BIG-5 Chinese characters, BIG-5 symbols, and BIG-5 characters/symbols that are not defined in the ETen implementation of BIG-5 coding scheme.
