Make24 (or any number you specify) The program is free to public. All copy rights reserved. This game was designed based on a very popular card game everyone of us used to play when we were small. It is a game which stimulates your math skill and your speed of thinking. Remember those old days when we participated a math contest ? You could only win if you can figure things out much faster than others. The rule to play is very simple. There are four cards and each of them presents a number which is the same as the card if it is smaller than 10, and 11, 12, 13 for Jack, Queen and King. You can apply +, -, X, and / to make a value of 24 by using each card once. Who figures out the way first, who wins the whole set of cards, and who gets the most cards in the end, who wins. Of course sometimes there is no way to get 24 from a set, in which case the players take back their cards and go to next set. The program is extended from the original game in the way that it can make whatever number you want instead of just 24. The default value is 24 in case the player don't bother to specify any value. There are zip files you can choose to load on your machine. If you have Excel on your PC, you can down load the compact one: make24c.zip, otherwise you want to get make24f.zip which is a little bit larger in size. After you zip file, simply unzip make24.zip and run setup.exe. It will be automatically loaded and you can change the directory later on if you desire. During the setup, some related files will be added to your window/system directory and normally it won't hurt anything other than adding about 1Mb to your hard drive.
