Blockquotes

When you have a lot of text on a page and you want to break the line you use the break tag as we see here
which breaks the line, but leaves no space below. If you want to leave a line of space below the break you use the paragraph tag.

The paragraph tag leave a line of space below the break. Note that, unlike most HTML tags, the break and paragraph tags do not have closing tags.

Another HTML tag which can be used to break up text is the blockquote tag, which indents all text until the closing blockquote tag is reached
Notice that you do not need to use a paragraph tag or a break tag above or below the blockquoted text

You can even put one set of blockquote tags inside another, as in this example:

Text text text and more text. Text text text and more text. Text text text and more text. Text text text and more text. Text text text and more text. Text text text and more text.
And a second block of text inset farther. Text text text and more text. Text text text and more text. Text text text and more text. Text text text and more text.
And then back out one step
And then out all the way.
