The news industry is in crisis. They need help. And even though they may not know it, they need innovative, creative, and forward thinking news librarians. This session will focus on three things: the crisis in news organizations, the results of a study of news organizations' information practices by Kathy Hansen and Nora Paul and a workshop on how to be an effective change agent in your organization led by Barbara Spiegelman.
