1. Double-click on the FoxPro icon in Windows.
2. Type SET DEFAULT TO F:\PROJECTS\DURHAM\VOTERS and hit the enter key.
3. Type USE DVOTERS ORDER LAST and hit the enter key.
4. Type FIND LASTNAME (where lastname is the voter's last name - must be in ALL CAPS). Hit the enter key. For example: find HIGHT
5. Type BROWSE. You'll see a new window titled dvoters. The first record where the last name field matches your search will be highlighted.
6. Use the arrow keys to scroll to the needed information. The fields in this database are listed at the bottom of this page.
7. To exit, click once on the word File, then click once on the word Exit.
(Note -- not every Mac has FoxPro. Every PC has FoxPro, so if you can't find FoxPro on your Mac, go to a PC.)
1. Hold down the control key and hit the F key. From here you should log in to CARnet/DATA.
