Too Cool for Grownups -- Tied to a monthly, or is that quarterly, tab published in Chapel Hill (printed at Chapel Hill News). Claims to reach 60,000 in print. Seems to aim at "young teens".
The Jolly Roger -- "Home port of the WWW literary renaissance." College students in Chapel Hill fiercely defending the western literary canon as part of the "grungeservative literary revolution." They don't do drugs , they don't do deconstruction, but they get awfully carried away with the pirate metaphor.
