undergraduate education

Williams Center

I received an Associates degree in Humanities, magna cum laude, from Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, NY in May 2003. I am also a member of the OCC chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, and was listed on the Dean's list all four semesters I was in attendance.

I received my Bachelor's degree in English, also magna cum laude, from SUNY Fredonia in Fredonia, NY, in December 2004. Honors and awards at SUNY Fredonia include being listed on the Dean's list for the Fall 2003 and Fall 2004 semesters, and being awarded the Maureen Fries scholarship for women in the humanities.

Coursework in my undergraduate education which is especially relevant to my current goals and interests includes: Computer Science I (Introduction to C++ and Java), Internet and Web Programming, and a two-semester calculus sequence. In addition, I was a staff writer for the student-run paper The Leader .
