Sri PrathivAdhi Bhayankaram ANNA (AnnangarAcchAr ) was a direct disciple of Sri MaNavALa Maamuni . His dates are 1300-1410. He was also a disciple of the son of Swamy Desikan , KumAra Varada Desikan ( NainicchAr). He composed a tribute to the Life and works of Swamy Desikan(PrAchAryan) known as "Sapthadhi Rathna- MaalikA " , which is an exemplary work on bhakthi towards an AchAryan . His other works are : AbhEdha Khandana , a VykhyAnam on Swamy ParAsara Bhattar's Ashta SlOki covered in the saraNAgathi list and is a master piece on elaborating the exquisite and subtle doctrines (SookshmArthams) of VisishtAdhvaitham . In the devotional side , His Venaktesa Su[rabhAtham , SthOthram , Prapatthi and MangaLam are recited even today at Thiruppathi in front of Lord VenkatEsA.He composed them at the request of his aachAryan , Sri MaNavALa Maamuni. The meanings of these four slOkams are covered in the home pages for the Lord of ThiruvEnkatam by Sri Haresh Balasubramanyan . V.Sadagopan
