THIRUPPAVAI SWAPADHESAM
SREMATH PARAMAHAMSA VANAMAMALAI JEEYAR. It was seen in the twentiteth
pAsuram that service to the Lord should be done to the divine consort in their
togetherness.
The twenty-first pAsuram:
On seeing the bhAgawadha ghOshti nappinnai pirAtti also considers herself
one among them and calls upon them to awaken Lord krishNA by
thinking aloud His ausipicious qualities. Thus, it is inferred that for the
srEvaishNavic clan, thriving-thinking on His qualities, is their basic
attribute.-yERRa kalangaL.
The twenty-second
pAsuram: In this pAsuram they express their
ananyArya-shEshathvam. What is this? The fact thatt
they are subservient only to HIm and none else. It is thus understood that for
His great blessing, this ananyArya shEshatvham becomes a
gate-pass or a reference point.-angaN mA . abhimAna bhangamAi

The twenty-third
pAsuram: The Lord feels that He has made
these devotees to approach HIm instead of He approaching them. He enquires
their requirement. They request HIm to adorn His assembly and sort out their
problems.
In contrast to those who take efforts to
attain some benefits from Him, or For those who do not want exactly any
benefits but put on efforts, the Lord Himself takes up the task of granting the
desired end for those do not have anything to offer quid-pro-quo.

The twenty-fourth pAsuram: On seeing that the
Lord accedes to their request, the devotees forget their mission and commence
talking and desiring His welafe. -mangaLA sAsanam. anRivulagam aLandhAi

The subject matter makes them to do so, is the elicited spirit from this
pAsuram.
The twenty-fifth pAsuram: If there are any
obstacles for us, You may yourself remove it. ( varuthamum thErndhu)
As seen hereinabove, where the desired end is granted by Him the obstacles
are also removed by Him. Both granting the desired end and removing the
OBstacles is a matter of ball in Lord's Court. The person with whom the ball is,
has to take the action and hence, it is the Lord who has to put the efforts, is
the underscored philosophy here.
