SrI:

Dear Sriman Raghuram Mudumbai :

Thanks very much for your detailed mail
analysing as to what might have happened .

Your analysis ( POint #4 ) on Swamy Desikan's
contributions to spread , protect and nourish
Bhagavath RaamAnuja SiddhAntham is very apt.

By the way , Swamy Desikan's commentary on
Bhagaavth GitA is known as "Taathparya ChandrikA
and it is an elaboration of Bhagavath RaamAnujA's
BhAshyam on GithOpanishad . Swamy Desikan also
wrote a commentary on GithArTa Sangraham of
Swamy Alawanthar , which was the inspiration
for Bhagavath RaamAnujA for His BhAshyam .
Thus the UpadEsams enshrined in the SrI Sookthis of
AchAryAs and their PrAchAryAs blend in a seamless
manner and the AchAryan will never ever vie for staking
a position for himself and think of one upmanship.

I am glad to learn from you that the response to
the question from the reader was from SrikAryam Swamy
and not from HH , the revered Jeeyar .

Two things come to my mind on reading your mail :

(1) Brahma Soothrams are terse . They can be intrepreted
in number of ways . That one sentence from Sri Kaaryam
Swamy towards the end of his response belongs to this
category of aphoristic statements amenable to different
intrepretaions .

(2) " lOkO bhinna ruchi: " . Inspite of it all , we cling to our
own AchAryA's sacred feet as dear rakshaNa vasthu like
Madhura Kavi AzhwAr just as Swamy NammAzhwAr clung to
the Thiruvadi of Sriman NaarAyaNan . Our AchAryans are firmly
holding on to the Thiruvadis of the Dhivya Dampathis like
Swamy NammAzhwAr .

For a Muktha Jeevan , ArchirAdhi Gamanam , Sri Vaikunta PrApthi ,
Parama Purusha Darsanam , Bhagavath GuNAnubhavam , Nithya ,
niravadhya Kaimkaryam for the dhivya Dampathis follow thru after
Aathma Bhara SamarpaNam . The Muktha Jeevan joins with
the AchAryans at Sri Vaikuntam to enjoy this parama PurushArTam .
Rest pale into insignificance . That is all adiyEn knows .

There is nothing more for adiyEn to say on this matter .

NamO NaarAyaNAya ,

Srimath Azhagiya Singar ThiruvadigaLE SaraNam ,
