There is a story about a lady that is being narrated by her mother. Both the lady and her mother went to sleep at the same time at night. When the mother woke up in the morning, she could not find her daughter beside her. She was wondering where her
daughter would have gone. Within a few minutes she realized that her daughter never used to eat the food that normal human beings used to intake. Her daughter also never drank water or enjoyed any pleasure on this earth. That lady was always submerged in the thoughts on Krishna . She lived her life with thoughts on Kannan as food, water and bhoghyam. She was always in tears to see her lover, Kannan. Though both the lady and her mother were living in Azhwar Thirunagari, because of the longing for her lover, the lady woke up early
and started walking towards Thirukkolur. Finally, the mother was convinced that her daughter would be safe as she
would have entered Thirukkolur.

Thirukkolur is the current stop in our tour of Vazhuthinadu. Similar to other stops, Parankusanayaki is accompanying us here too. This is very special for our sampradayam. Thirukkolur is the birth place for Madhurakavi Azhwar. Even his acharyan, our companion in the journey is
not very firm in his stand.
He is classified under ?unnum pOdu oru vAarthai, unnAdha pOdhu oru vAarthai?
Whereas his sishya Madhurakavi Azhwar is very firm in his stand, always taking one stand, and that is the complete Acharya prathibhankti all the time.
Perumal?s thirunAmam is VaithamAnidhi. He is also known as Nikshepavitthan. He is beautiful sayana thirukkOlam. Let us get into enjoying the anubhavam of Azhwar in this lovely
Divya Desam from the next posting.
