Again Rs. 1 crore offered to TTD

Exactly a week after, in the second such donation, a devotee from Bangalore today offered Rs one crore to the Tirumala-Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) which manages the famous hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala near here for the benefit of poor patients of TTD hospitals and for free meal feeding to pilgrims visiting the temple.
The devotee, K Surya Rao, has handed over a demand draft for Rs one core to the TTD, a temple official said here today.
The devotee has asked the temple management to utilise Rs 50 lakh out of the offering for TTD's Praana Dhaana Trust for the benefit of poor patients in its hospitals here and the rest for free meal scheme.
On Sunday last, Rajiv Singh from New Delhi had offered Rs one crore to the hill temple for the benefit of poor patients in TTD hospitals here. http://www.tirupatitimes.com/
