Mr. Rajagopalan:

I am moved to add these to your fine composition.

It is not too late to
enjoy their company;
pour your affection and love
on poor old immobile souls.
For, you will regret at a later date
when they no longer will be there.

Now that they are gone,
what can you do to cherish
and nourish their warm love,
and affection beyond belief?
Keep them in your heart of hearts
and see their shadows on the walls

Pray whenever you can
that they be with you
and keep you good company
in joy and distress of time travel
Find them in other living beings,
and cherish them with all marvel. .

Feed the poor in their fond memory
and tell your kids their life time story.
They are etched into time memorial
only a handful can recall.
It is not too late to shout it out loud---
Parents are everything in and out!

When I once visited the Venkateshwara temple in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I was accompanied by my old mother. The temple priest maintained that the best karma a person can do is to take care of the aging parents, particularly the mother, when they become like children and infants.

Thanks for kindling the memory of my parents.

Swamin,

Our parents... They were responsible for our birth.
They introduced us to this world.
                                They brought up us
                                They educated us
                                They took care of us
It is because of them what we are today!!!

But then, ..     They are getting older day by day
They have to depend on others
                                 Their mobility is restricted
                                 They expect others care
                                 They deserve your attention
It is time you thought over it!!!

What do they want  Reflection of love and affection they gave you
                                  Comfortable living
                                  Good health
                                  Peace of mind
A feeling that they are cared.

How do you give this  Get their counsel on all family matters
Seek their blessings as often as possible and  during
                                  all occasions
                                  Enquire their health very often
Before they become too old provide for thier pilgrimages
