May the childhood of Krishna, kaiSorakam, which is most beautiful in all the three worlds, thribhuvanasukumaaram, which is followed closely by the celestial damsels, anugatam amareeNaam, well known for being the upper limit of love sports, narma nirmaaNa seemnaam, and enchanting eyes, nayanamaDhurima Sree, clinging in the sky( to see him), ambaraalambineenaam, and which is the target of the loving glances of the gopis, fastened on his form, vrajayuvathivilaasa vyaaprtha apaangam, protect us.

May the young form of Krishna, kumaaramoorthiH, the Lord of cowherds, gopaala bhoopaala, which is imbibed, aapeeyamaanaa, from head to foot, aapaadham aachoodam, by the minds of the sages, yaminaam manobhiH, who have deep devotion, athiprasakthaiH, the joy of which is well known to the gopis, gopeejanajnaatha rasaa, protect us.
The sages with deep devotion meditate on the youthful form of
Srimadbhagavatham details the method of worship of the Lord limb by limb. This is usually done in two ways, either from feet to head or vice versa. Here the yogis are said to meditate on the form of the Lord from feet up because they surrender their ego at His feet by self control. For devotees who enjoy looking at he lotus face of the Lord it is other way round, by starting a His face and moving sown to His feet where they surrender themselves.

May the light, Dhaama, that is Krishna, who has appeared in front of the gopis of Brindavan, brindhaavanamrgadhrSaam prathyaasannam, who were forlorn with the pain of separation, viprayogaakulaanaam, due to their good fortune, dhishtyaa, with his eyes moving with love sending the waves of glances towards them, praNayachapala apaangaveechee tharngaiH and who was blue like the lotus held by Lakshmi for play, laKshmee leelaa kuvaladhala Syaamalam, and decorated by the sprouting horripilation, pulaka mukula aabhoga bhooshaaviSesham, fulfil our desires pushNeeyaath naH.

May the boy Krishna, kumaaraH, who wears the feather of the peacock of SkanDha on his head, guruSikheendhra picchamouliH, his body being smeared by the red stone, gairika kalpitha angaraagaH, from the mount Meru , suragiri, and whose tresses are bathed and decorated by the flowers showered by the celestial damsels, surayuvathi vikeerNa soona varshasnaapithaH bhoohithaH cha, be victorious.

vijayathaam vrajabaala vaDhoojana
sthanathatee viluTath nayanam vibhoH
May the lotus-face of Lord Krishna, vibhoH vadhanapankajam, with its sweet, soft and charming smile, maDhura mandha Suchismitha manjulam, making even the god of love tremble, angaja vellitham, with eyes roaming around, viluTath nayanam, the beautiful form of gopis, be victorious.
