Learned Srivaishnava perunthakaiyeer!
Sri R.Kesava Iyengar needs no introduction to the Srivaishnava community. His kainkaryam to Sri Ramanuja Darisanam is a very great one and his devotion to Swami Desika is unparalleled. During his lifetime he had translated almost all the works of Swami Desika and a majority of our Samprathaya granthams. Adiyen has the bhagyam of reproducing some of his works in this group. While many of the files uploaded were published somewhere around 1950, two of his books very recently published are now with me. "VALLUVAR ULLAM" and "ADIYAVARKKU MEYYAN ARUL" both published in 1974 are books that must be read by all Srivaishnavaites. While "Valluvar ULLam" establishes beyond doubt that the sage Thiru vaLLuvar is a Srivaishnavite beyond doubt, "Adiyavarkku Meyyan AruL" is an exhaustive
commentary on Swami Desikan's "anthamil seerayinthai amarntha nAthan". In the course of his commentary he also proves that prior to 1900 Ramanusa nURRanthAthi was a part of "iyaRpA" only . He goes on to establish Kamban was also a Srivaishnavaite. Both the books are a very good example for students of dharkkam and logic.
Actually adiyen wanted to share both the books with you all. But "VaLLuvar uLLam" (478 pages) because of its size can not be uploaded with a dial-up connection I am using.
Any how with some difficulty I have uploaded the scanned pages of "Adiyavarkku meyyan aruL" (179 pages). Please enjoy the book by downloading from the link below. The quality of the uploaded file is not good. Sorry I have no other alternative . The 528 Mb file has to be resized for uploading to the net. It may also take a few minutes to get downloaded as the resized file is also big (8Mb) . Nowhere I can find a
para in the book to split. Such a great master he was, Sri Kesava Iyengar's commentary runs from page one to the end like amuda dharai
The book can be downloaded from
