Sri:

SrimatE Gopaladesika MahadesikAya Namaha,

Translation of Paaduka Sahasram by U.Ve. Sri V.N. Vedanta Desikan

The Lord stands as the head and as an ornament to hundreds of Vedas. He
is
a veritable hill. Rows of Brahmas (of different universes) come and
bend
their heads closely on to the hill that the Lord is; by friction with
the
crown-gems of those worshippers, the hill surface has been softened as
it
were; the Paadukas are competent to arrest the rising flow of rivers of
sin
that I generate.

Namo Narayana,

Adiyen,

SriMuralidhara Dasan
