Pleased by Parankusanayaki?s matured stage of bhakti, Perumal could not stop visiting Azhwar and bless him in person. During this journey, Perumal takes some rest in sayana (lying posture) thirukkOlam in beautiful Thiruppulingudi. Then, He gets up and continues His journey before taking another break at ThiruVaragunamangai in sitting posture as VijayAsanar. He continues further and stands in SriVaikuntam as KallarPirAn and looks in the direction of Azhwar?s place.

Azhwar claims that it was purely because of Perumal?s interest in Azhwar?s state and His grace that enabled azhwar to enjoy the darshan of all the above postures deeply. Azhwar pleads to Perumal to continue to grace him like this, and should not leave Azhwar in bereft state as disqualified for any further grace.

There was a great mahan by the name Pillai ThirunaraiyUr araiyar. In order to protect Perumal?s thirumEni in a place called Thottiyam ThiruNarayanpuram, he went to the extent of even losing his life, along with his family members. Hearing this, Swamy Parasara Bhattar felt little sad, and thought about what happened to his father, KoorathAzhwAn and PeriyaNambigal because of the Chozha king?s torture. He felt that all the above mahAPurushas exhibited MahaVishwasam, still they ended up with the sad state. Hence, Bhattar pleaded to Perumal that it was not right for the Him to treat His bhaktas like this.

Hearing Azhwar?s pleading, Perumal requests about Azhwar?s expectation?

Azhwar requests Perumal to exhibit His Sousheelyam by slowly walking towards Azhwar and enable all the people in three worlds to enjoy this scene. Perumal?s nadai azhagu is spoken about in these lines. If such a thing happens, all of us (your bhaktas) will be singing and dancing in joy.

Once, NamPerumal requested Pillai Azhagiya Manavala Perumal araiyar to dance in accordance with His walk. This happened when the araiyar swami was enjoying the Thiruvaymozhi pasuram on Thiruppulingudi (TVM 9.2.4)

For this request from Perumal, araiyar swamy replied as below:

?ThampirAnE , adiyenAl annadaikku eedAga Ada mudiyumO?,

and continues to answer further with reference to PeriyAzhwar?s pasuram on Perumal?s nadai azhagu.

?When Perumal was playing his flute and walking in His usual manner, the great dancers like menagai and thilothamai were astounded by Perumal?s nadai azhagu. They could not stand up to Him.?

?After knowing all your PrabhAvam like this, adiyen cannot dance in accordance with your walk.?

Let us continue VazhuthinAdan?s anubhavam as we get along the series?

adiyen,
ramanan
