Dear Swamin
There was a seies of information shared between members regarding
tarpam used for tarpanam and other karmas.
I may add that tarpam can be reused and there is no bar for the same.
After tarpanam is over, the knots can be untied carefully and can be
used again.
This will help in places like U.S.A. where tarpam has to be used
sparingly due to non availability.
I have seen that the grass growing on the banks of sreams in U.S. are
not stiff or long enough.
