Srimathe Ramanujaya Nama:

Sri Bhattar Kuzham ? 5

Another great service conducted by Srimaan Bhattar Kuzham (SBK)
towards the preservation of Sri Vaishnava Sampradayam is the
establishment and maintenance of Sri Gyanapiraan Library. Located
at 199 East Uttara Street in Srirangam, it houses an extensive
collection of various scriptures and poorvacharya's works. To name
a few, SriVachanabhushanam, Mumukshuppadi, Tatvatrayam, TaniDwayam,
TaniCharamam, Parandappadi, and lots more. Various texts in Tamil,
English, Telugu, and Samskritam have been collected and preserved.
The books were collected from various sources including
Acharyas,Vidwans, Devotees, old book stalls as well as door-to-door
collections. Ultimately, the Gyanapiraan library is to be a
central, authentic source for all Sampradayic-based knowledge and
records.
Maintained by the Kainkarya Sri Members of the Srimaan Trust, the
Gyanapiraan Library can be explored by all devotees and people
interested in seeking knowledge about our rich and divine
sampradayam. Devotees from outside Srirangam who would like to
visit the library may contact:
Srimaan Trust,
231, South Uttara Street,
Srirangam.

On a quarterly basis, Srimaan Bhattar Kuzham (SBK) sponsors a
Medical camp for the financially disadvantaged, treating men, women,
and children, as well as elderly who cannot afford medical treatment
for various ailments. Most commonly treated are patients suffering
from Diabetes, Cancer, and Asthma. Private Doctors at designated
clinics are enlisted for this purpose. Treatment is provided to
all, regardless of any social or class differences. The medical
camp is primarily available for the benefit of the underprivileged
and extended to others depending upon funds and resources.
