sangath thamizh
sudharsaNar
The most outstanding contribution of sri
sudarsaNar,inter-alia, is his quotes
from of ancient tamil lieterature, time and agian. The last few decades has
witnessed false propoganda of ancient tamil lieterature. thol-kAppiyam,
silappadhigAram and other sangath thamizh works unequivocally mention and
proclaim sreman nArAyaNa as the supreme Lord and His attributes are stated
incisively therein.
These arguments were put forth by sri
krishNaswAmy iyengar to break the bubble and the misconception. That this
had done in a state where the population was tilted against this and certain
politically influenced pontiffs were having their hey day unabashedly and
unabatedly, is the most commendable aspect.
The ten unique attributes of 'thriumAl' -the supreme Lord
are:
1. Creation, sustenance and destroyal of
the worlds.-paDaithu,kAthu,
azhithal.
2. The Lord who knows
everything;
3. Who can do everything -omni-potence.
4.Who can be at all places at all times
-omni-presence;
5.The Lord who can grant release from
births and deaths -salvation.
6.Who is full of auspicious qualities and
bereft of any bad qualities.--kalyAna
guNangaL.
7.Who cannot be perceived precisely by
anybody.
8.Who does not have any equal and anybody
above Him.
9.Who is a natural relationship to
jEvAthmAs.
10.All the above attributes are possessed
by 'thriumAl' only.
These ten unique attributes are logically
determined with the help of ancient tamil literatue like pari-pADal.
The geographical divisions in the ancient
tamil literature is made as
1. mullai
2. marudham 3.
kurinji 4 neidhal and 5. pAlai.
For each 'nilam'
each deities are attributed. However,
Sri puthUr kirshNaswAmy iyengar swAmy thus
meticulously goes on to prove this asepct from ancient tamil literature, some of
which we shall see in the next posting.
