Sri Gurubyo Namah Harihi Om!

Sri Krishnaya Namah!

I am only against the word - compassionless attached to the Lord, who
creates & sustains this world. For us acharyas like Sri Ramanuja are more
important as they show us the path to reach Him. But this act of theirs do
not wee bit diminishes His compassion. I don't think thiru-voi-mozhi
mentions this.

If we consider that Lord has to take credit of all the good deeds of the
souls -as you infer from antharyAmithvam-then the problem of debiting HIm
for the bad deeds also occur.

I totally agree to this, but what I mean is that we should not bring in the
feeling of 'I' whenever something good is done by us and thus thwarting the
feeling of ego by dedicating the same to Lord - as the reason behind the
same. As a follower of Sri Ramanuja I think you will agree to this.
Bhagavathas do not take credit for their good deeds and they deem it that
it is His nirhetuka krupa. I am saying all this because you are
generalising your sentence above.

Though the Lord is present in the innermost of the souls, He is not
affected by their good and bad deeds.

I am in complete agreement to this.

Hence, I dont think we can give credit to the Lord for sri rAmAnujA's good
compassion as the LOrd is in the innermost of the soul.

Lord is compassionate towards us and hence He let Sri Ramanuja incarnate
and be among us. Is this act in any way wee bit lesser than Sri
Ramanuja's. Pls. ponder... Sri Ramanuja will surely say - it's all
His will.

While to list down or think about the volume of the compassion of Ramanuja
is very difficult, to list the compassion of the Lord is impossible(except
great acharyas like Sri Ramanuja), as He is the Lord of not just our solar
system but many galaxies.

Dear Sukumar,

If we consider that Lord has to take credit of all the good deeds of the
souls -as you infer from antharyAmithvam-then the problem of debiting HIm
for the bad deeds also occur.

As far as I understand the Lord is antharyAmi but the kArmic effects of the
soul-good or bad deeds does not affect Him.
thiru-voi-mozhi, in the third ten which emphasises on omnipresence "
yAvaiyum yavarum thAnAi avaravar samayam dhOrum, thOivu ilan ...." 3-4-10

Though the Lord is present in the innermost of the souls, He is not
affected by their good and bad deeds.

Hence, I dont think we can give credit to the Lord for sri rAmAnujA's good
compassion as the LOrd is in the innermost of the soul.
