AzhvAr is enjoying, and exposing to others like us, one of the
Lord's auspicious qualities in each thiruvAymozhi. In the first
thiruvAymozhi, he talked about the Lord's parathvam (supremeness).
In the second thiruvAymozhi, he talked about the Lord's
quality of being the One to worship (bhajaneeyathvam). In the third
thiruvAymozhi, he talked about the Lord's sowlabhyam. In
the fourth thiruvAymozhi, he talks about the LOrd's quality of
tolerance for sins committed by bhaktAs (aparAdha sahathvam). In
this thiruvAymozhi, he talks about the LOrd's Seelathvam.
Of all the auspicious qualities that the Lord has, Seelathvam is one
of the most magnificient. Seelathvam is the quality of
the LOrd in which even thouh He is the all-supreme, and we are very
unqualified and very low, He stoops Himself to come to us,
and move with us just as one of us (purai aRa-k kalakkum thanmai).
This is also called SowSeelyam. In samskrit, seelathvam is
described as "mahatho mandhai: saha nirantarENa samslEsha:
sowseelyam" - i.e. the quality by which mahAns move closely with
idiots (mandhai:) is seelam. AzhvAr describes that magnificient
quality of the Lord through his anubhavam in this
thiruvaymozhi.

The LOrd, through His seela guNa, blessed (and included in His

farther from the LOrd after he thought in depth about the greatness
of the LOrd, and the lowly nature of the soul and became
tired (thaLarvuRRu - can also say he became weak at the thought of
the gap between the greatness of the LOrd and the lowliness
of the soul).
