It is Lord Sriranganatha who is known as 'peria-perumaal', not for physical
magnitude, but that He was worshipped by Sriraama, who was himself 'perumaal'
incarnated.
The longest (56 ft) ananta-Saayee is at Saaranga, district Angul, Orissa,
reclining Open-to-Sky on the banks of river Brahmani; the second longest, is
trapped in NTPC project at Talcher, about 30 miles to east of Saaranga.
