According to B. V. Raman, Rahu and Kethu are not physical planets. They are shadowy planets. They are the points of interesection of the orbits which revolve around the center of the solar system. Translating it in to English names like for othet planets may be erroneous. This is my understanding. But Vedic Cosmography is too vast and my understanding is to little.
