Dear Bhagavatas:
The statement regarding the difference in the references to Saraswati
in the Vedic and Post Vedic periods has been taken from the write up of Sri
Satakopan Swami in
http://www.ramanuja.org/sv/bhakti/archives/feb96/0033.html

He will be able to offer any further clarifications, if needed.
Further discussions on the subject may be taken up in private mail with him.

You may wish to mark a copy to my personal id Ramanbil@xxxx for my information.
Thanks.

Can someone please explain what is meant by "Post-Vedic" period?
Also, in the context of post-vedic period, please explain what
would be Vedic period and pre-Vedic period?

Thank you,

-- Dileepan
