Dear Bhakthas,
Padavedu is a village, 5 Kms from Santhavasal on
Vellore Tiruvannamalai Road.
This place is famous for Renukambal temple.
A temple dedicated to Sri Rama has been renovated
recently by the TVS management. The uniqueness of this
temple is, you find the moolavar Sri Rama in a sitting
posture with the yoga mudra. Sri Sita is seated by His
side, and Sri Lakshmana holding the bow is standing
behind. Anjaneyar is found seated in front of Sri Rama
reading the scripures from the palm leaf. There are
sannadhis for Thayar and Andal.
Nitya aradhana is being conducted regularly.
There is a temple on the hill closeby, for Lord
Krishna also called Sri Venugopalasami with Rukmini
and Satyabhama.
Saturdays attract a large number of pilgrims to these
temples.
