Respected Swamins,
in a recent message one of sri.desikas compositions was spelt as AchuyyA
Sayakam. Perhaps this is how it is pronounced in prakrit. But was it also
written like this by our Desikar?
tHIS ALSO RAISES A QUESTION. wHAT PROMPTED OUR SIMHAM TO compose a hundred
verses in an ancient language not in use. this is not a devabasha. Was it to
show his mastery in that language or was their any other purpose? Are there
other works in this language by any of our acharya parampara?
Thesr are genuine doubts. adiyen daSAN NARAYANAN
