Swamin,
I would like to know the significance of Navarathri for Srivaishnavas. It is popularly said that Navarathri belongs to Lakshmi, Durga and Saraswathi. This does not appear to be in line with Srivaishnava Thoughts.
I also do not think that Kolu, which is a kind of worship towards dolls without any prathishta, has any sanction in Srivaishnava Sampradayam.
Then what is the significanice of Navarathri for Srivaishnavas / Prapannas and why should they celebrate it? And for what reason it is celebrated in our Divyadesams?
Kindly enlighten me.
