About the Symposium
The University of North Carolina School of Information and Library Science proudly hosted the UNC Social Software Symposium. This two day event, held December 8-9, 2006 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, explored research methodologies for studying social software. The symposium explored two significant areas: folksonomy/social tagging, and social network websites.

- Symposium: Saturday, December 9. Location: 305 Carroll Hall, Freedom Forum Conference Center. 8AM-Noon. Please note the new Saturday location.
Additionally, David Weinberger will be delivering the Henderson Lecture on Thursday, December 7 at 2PM. Everyone is cordially invted to attend this public lecture.
