Chapter Two: Carbohydrates-Structure-Glucose

This is glucose. It is a monosaccharride or simple sugar. It is a common sugar that is your bodies main source of energy. If you count up the different atoms in it you will find there are 6 carbon (blue) 12 hydrogens (yellow) and 6 oxygen (white) yielding a chemical formula of C6 H12 06 .
