Abigail Washburn

Abigail Washburn has mixed her love of the Chinese culture with her interest in bluegrass to create a sound somewhere between Beijing and Nashville. Her new album, “Song of the Traveling Daughter” (Nettwerk/2005) features the title track, which is based on the Chinese poem, “Song of the Traveling Son.” Host Melinda Penkava talks with Abigail about her new album.
