Little Chapels

Host Connie Walker speaks to North Carolina native Gwendolyn (Wendy) Bounds about her new book, “Little Chapel on the River, A Pub, A Town and The Search for What Matters Most” (William Morrow/2005). Bounds was born in Durham, raised in Raleigh, graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill and spent many of her summers and vacations in the town of Swansboro on North Caorlina’s coast. Since joining the Wall Street Journal she’s written about small business and entreprenuership. From Garrison, New York to Oriental, North Carolina, her book considers the idea of a sacred place where one finds community and fellowship. Listener Call-In. (40:00)
