Latino Health

The Latino population in North Carolina is growing at one of the fastest rates in the nation. Inadequate health care is a growing problem, due to a widening cultural divide and, some say, a lack of governmental policies. So what role should government play in addressing the issue? And what impact will this health care crisis have on North Carolina if it’s not addressed? Host Melinda Penkava looks at Hispanic health care issues with: Andrea Bazan-Manson, president of the Triangle Community Foundation; and Eliseo Perez-Stable, professor of medicine and chief of general internal medicine at Stanford University.
