Hurricanes: Last year at this time North Carolinians were bracing for the impact of Hurricane Isabel. The western part of the state is still drying out from the remnants of Hurricane Frances, and Ivan is on his way. Host Melinda Penkava talks hurricanes with environmental meteorologist Peter Childs from the State Climate Office of North Carolina and Jay Barnes, director of the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and author of several books about hurricanes.
